Swiss manufacturer of fine writing instruments Caran d’Ache and world-renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta join forces to create the brand new Fixpencil.

Paying respect to the iconic silhouette of the Fixpencil, Botta has incorporated a chessboard pattern onto the classic hexagonal body. And that chessboard pattern isn’t just for show; every five adjacent rectangles is equivalent to 1 cm, hence making the Fixpencil an accurate measuring device, as well.

Made from light and resistant aluminum, the Fixpencil comes in a beautiful hexagonal case along with four brightly-coloured water-soluble leads.
